Very nice restaurant , you can pick it for business meetings, romantic dinner, family dinner. Everything was spot on but a bit pricey.
Very nice atmosphere and the food was delicious. The quantity-quality rate was unique and prices were good. I would not miss it if i visited Brasov again. Also it's very close to the Old Town.
We had the Romanian soup (ciorba) to start, which read totally delicious, followed by lamb & pork on hot stones. It was all very good, and left is gasping for breath as we were so full. We had a lovely evening there in the subterranean restaurant. Well worth a visit.
Best price/quality restsuran i visited in Brssov. Ok, maybe not true but I love their food and their whole lunch experience
The Bella Musica is in the city Centre and located in a cellar.
Here you can have a big variety of different regional dishes but also Mexican food. All dishes are well cooked and taste very good. High quality, good portion and good taste. The service is very friendly.
If you are in Brasov and you want to have some tasty beef steak, this is the place to go.
The food is great and the staff is very friendly and professional.
Beautiful hotel right across from the square. Loved every space I cam across. The interior design is breathtaking. The staff were polite and the shower was wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for a better location from the square and the Black Church and I definitely couldn’t have asked for a nicer hotel.
Nice location, good food, chill atmosphere and nice services. It's been a while since I was asked about how am I feeling and if it's all alright. Not once but two times during our stay there. On our next visit to Brasov we will go there again.
Service was really good, picked a sharing platter and the Bulz as we wanted authentic Romanian and it was substantial and tasty.
Only downside was "Nothing Compares 2U" by Sinead O'Connor was on repeat. Now it's a great song but played 15/20 times in a row would grate on anyone. When I mentioned it the staff didn't seem to understand why I'd complain so I left it.
Not going to fault them on that. I'm sure it's a temporary thing.
We inter the restaurant everything was calm decorated like a wild forest the lights were very calming
We came by as a family, 6 people
They all was very delicious, it’s a restaurant you have to visit recommended
4 of us enjoyed lunch here and we all had a good time. Helpful staff good choice of food and wine sitting in a cellar under the hotel. Great atmosphere and charm. Not too expensive.
We were tired after a long day of driving, so dinner at the hotel we were staying sounded good to all of us. While the portions were not large, we enjoyed the dishes on the traditional menu. Located in a cellar, the candle lit ambiance set a romantic mood, though prices were surprisingly affordable.
Really great service in underground restaurant, quaint decor ! I had pork and my partner had turkey ! Food good and wine reasonable prices and good local choices !
As we were staying at the hotel, we had prebooked this reservation but it was not needed as the restaurant was largely empty at 7:45 on a Tuesday night. It had a great atmosphere with many private nooks in the cellar and a few tables al fresco. The menu was quite extensive and as has been mentioned they serve traditional Romanian, Hungarian, Mexican and Continental dishes.
The service was good but a bit weird as we were told to press the button on the wall by the table, but when we did nothing happened and we found it easier just to flag our waiter down with a glance like we would anywhere else. We were given a 10% off voucher by the hotel's front desk concierge and he suggested we give it to the waiter when we arrived. It included our room number. He told us that we should pay for our dinner as part of check out when we were leaving the hotel. I asked if we should tip the waiter after eating or when we paid our final check out bill and we were told it would be better at the restaurant. When we were finished we left what I had calculated to be an approximately 20% tip (which we know is more than the norm) and then got up to leave. We were almost chased down. We thought it was understood that the meal would be charged to our room. We explained that the card on the table had our room number on it. The other waiter who was nearby stepped in to try to translate for us. It was all a little embarrassing.
The food was pretty good but the Cheese starter was way too big for too people and we felt embarrassed to be wasting so much. One of us tried the stone grilled ribeye. It came just char marked barely on one side and then we were too finish cooking it ourselves on the super hot stone it was served on. It was interesting and turned out quite nice but it should perhaps come with a plate or something. Because I wanted it medium rare it was quite hard to eat without overcooking it. I found it best to move my side of mushrooms up onto the stone as it didn't matter if they cooked more. Then I pushed my steak off onto the side area. It was a bit awkward.
We went for the atmosphere and loved the food. The atmosphere is great! You feel like you’re dining in a cave - a clean, cool, and well appointed cave that is. We were a bit skeptical about Mexican food in Romania, but our choices were excellent. I had the burrito and my wife had the tacos. We both had soup as appetizers and couldn’t finish our entrees. Luckily we have a refrigerator in the apartment we’re renting so we took the uneaten portions back with us. Two soups, two entrees, one wine, and a large bottle of water for about $US40, before tip. We’re here for 3 days, so we’re going back again for traditional Romanian food. Highly recommend.
Nice place, in center of Brasov with friendly staff, open at jokes, they have a very, very good food at medium price and good wine 🙂
No question. If you want authentic Romanian food with a quality, all-Romanian wine list....this is the place. Set in a totally charming and intimate cellar, a good to excellent staff (I ate here three times), this surprising restaurant delivers. First and foremost, they know how to make Grandma's ciorba, a vegetable and beef-based slightly sour soup. A specialty in the Moldova Region. The ciorba with beans and smoked pork was elevated to heavenly with a touch of tarragon. Fresh potato bread. Yum!!!! Several main courses were also excellent. Something as simple as grilled pork neck with "country" potatoes was truly satisfying. Again, the wine list is an excellent all Romanian list. Just ask the waiter what to drink and get ready. Being a winemaker who has visited Romania many times I have favorites and they were on the list. Don't worry about the "Mexican" page. Being from California, I ignored it.
I have been there several times with my family. Very nice place, very private, food is fresh and tasty. Kind personnel. As little minuses, kind of expensive and almost no GSM signal at all.
I went to this restaurant upon seeing the menu on a stand when walking down the street. At the time that I saw the menu, I did not realize that the restaurant was in a subterranean cellar. What a delight! It is absolutely beautiful. Romantic lighting, white tablecloths; an intimate setting.
I was just having a light lunch so ordered chicken soup with noodles and a beverage. The waiter brought complimentary nachos with salsa. Both were delicious to enjoy while I waited for my soup. The soup was a generous portion with very flavourful broth. It contained noodles and pieces of chicken.
The meal was served by a very polite and welcoming waiter who spoke fluent English. I felt looked after as if I had been ordering a multicourse meal. I plan to return here for a more substantial meal while I am visiting this week. Thank you for creating such a special spot!
